New Years Update 2019

Happy New Years from the Biddingers!!! Major highlights of our year: The birth of our baby girl, Emma Louise. Emma was born on April 19th, 2018. Leading up to her birth our family seemed to be hit with all the lovely wintery sicknesses that we could get. Andrew and I both got really sick with bronchitis, and Oakley got the flu, a cold, and the chicken pox all in a row as we were both sick. Lol! Yes, lots of sickness and very interesting being almost due and all being down for the count. It was a little scary as…

A Happy 2017 Newsletter from the Biddingers

Dear Friends and Family, Happy 2017!!! I hope your holidays held many joyful celebrations and meaningful times with family and friends! As you probably know the biggest event of our year was the birth of our son. In September of 2015 we discovered that I was four weeks pregnant with a little peanut. We were happily surprised right before Christmas of 2015 to find out that we would be having a beautiful baby boy! By this time last year, I was getting quite big as I entered my third trimester; I stopped my cleaning jobs and started to transition out…

Colorado Vacation 2016 (and Cute Oakley Pictures)

On the 21st of October, Andrew and I headed for Colorado. We had been looking forward to this vacation for months, so we were pretty excited that it was finally here! Not only was Colorado the place where we both went to a Christian discipleship school (at separate times) that greatly impacted both of our lives, but it was also the place WHERE WE MET!!! Colorado holds a special place in our hearts to say the least. This time we were going back for our first big vacation since being married, our first vacation ever with Oakley, and to go to…

Water Balloon Hack (No Nozzle Required)!

*P.S. This is a bit of a silly post for my husband.  <3 Comment on, share, and post this video! And try it out too for yourself! Fourth of July celebrations this year took us to my sister and brother-in-law’s house for some family fun. My 16-year-old niece stayed with Andrew and I over Fourth of July weekend, so we took her back home and stayed for the day. We had a delicious lunchy dinner, complete with cheesy, bacon, and onion stuffed burgers (YUM!), and started the first time ever Fourth of July Olympics. It started off with teams of…

It’s Looking A Lot Like…

It’s looking a lot like…A sweet little baby boy is about to make his way into our home! As Andrew or I look around our apartment, there are little (and big) evidences almost everywhere that a little person is about to make his way into our home. 🙂 Andrew and I are getting more and more excited as our baby boy grows bigger and it gets closer to his due date! I’m 35 weeks (36 on Friday!); he could arrive anytime in the next few weeks! Throughout the months the reality of having a baby has gotten more real. In…

Influencing a Life | One Woman’s Impact on Mine

As a teenager, all that separated my family’s house from my grandmas was a large neighborhood where I used to take runs and walks quite frequently. One warm, sunny summer afternoon, I remember walking to grandma’s house for a visit. I spent the afternoon with her, and when it came time for me to go, Grandma insisted on driving me home. She said, “It will just take me a minute. Let me take you home. I can get you back in a jiffy; and it’s no trouble.” With that, she jumped into the car – barefooted! My almost 90-year-old grandma was…

The Fun Box: Creating Memorable Moments

A few years ago I had the idea of creating a special box for the kids in my life. At that time I was not married and definitely did not have kids of my own, but I was around kids all the time. Growing up as the youngest of seven made it easy for me to quickly become the aunt of 24 nieces and nephews. I loved entertaining them, playing with them, and taking care of them. From that was launched my desire to babysit as a job. From the time I was old enough to, I began watching my nieces and…
